I have decided that I am going to stop sugar coating this parenting thing. I am in a surly mood today. Blame it on the weather. Blame it on my back killing me. Blame it on the fact that I haven't had a good night sleep in what feels like forever. Blame it on a 10 month year old who is, albeit the happiest kid alive, but is a moving monster. Blame it on a 2 and half year old who speaks in a whine. Blame it on anything, just blame something.
So here is my post about dying Easter Eggs with Mae and Whitaker. Well Whitaker didn't dye eggs he just sat and smiled contently. Awww he is so sweet.
Really?!?! Why do I think that holiday activities are going to be some magical moment that I have seen in movies, read about in books or on mommy blogs.

The funny thing is that you would think that I have learned by now that doing these "holiday activities" aren't magical or at least not yet. Involving a very precocious two and half year old in the dying of Easter Eggs is and was a recipe for a disaster. Don't be fooled by these pictures either. This was BEFORE. I had to put down my camera to catch vinegar and dye solution falling all over the floor.
Making memories over here one disaster after another.
Awww, sweetness.

What you don't see from this picture is me repeatedly telling her to stop touching the cups.
And again yelling.
Let the mess begin!
