OR so I hope so.
I have told myself everyday for the last 464 days to post something ANYTHING on this page. I don't know what all of sudden stopped me from documenting our lives. It definitely coincided with a trip to Paris (for just Pearson and I) and then our move into our new house. Buying the house has been wonderful but the list of house projects is endless. They are all exhausting. In addition, as the kids have gotten older there just seems to be more obligations and commitments, which require more of our time. This is truly no excuse as I am still not working and I DO have plenty of time. I just haven't prioritized this particular space in my life, giving my energy to other places. As they say new year, new resolutions. I realized as much as this had felt like a "chore" at nights, I enjoyed coming here on many nights to digest what moments or non-moments defined our day. Or what little bit of the day I wanted to remember for another day or many years down the road. Or what pictures I wanted to look at to make me feel the emotion I felt in that moment.
Well what might have happened in those 464 days…

- We bought and moved into our house, which I had mentioned in a previous post. There have been a lot of updates (by us) but still have a lot to go.
- We have celebrated 2 Christmases.
- Our kids have turned 5 and 7 and thus Pearson and I have gotten older.
- We have taken many trips from the shores of Lake Michigan and the waves of Oak Island.
- We have laughed, smiled, cried, yelled, screamed, and loved.
