Might as well start where I left off back in 2015. I am going to summarize in pictures a few of the highlights of the last quarter of the year. To leave where we left off in October 2015, we were in the midst of buying a house and Pearson and I were planning to jet off to Paris just the two of us for a week.
In Paris, we got an AirBnB and stayed in the Saint Germain neighborhood of Paris. One thing of note of the trip, Pearson made me ride the public bikes a few times, much to my chagrin and fear at first. One such trip led to an epically long trip to find the Eiffel Tour. Damn smart phone maps and the person or Pearson that doesn't know how to use them. Along with the public bikes, we had amazing food, hit most of the tourist spots (Versailles, Eiffel Tour, Louvre, etc..), I should probably write a whole post about our trip but will keep it at - we went, we ate, we toured, it was grand.

We came back from Paris, rested and then moved into our new house. That week of moving nearly killed me (Pearson was conveniently on a business trip for it) but the upside we were able to pass out candy in our new house for Halloween. In 2015, Whitaker wanted to be blue batman (AGAIN) and Mae wanted to be an American Ninja Warrior. Easy and easy.
We got to host Thanksgiving 2015 in our new house with the whole family. It was a splendidly beautiful day. Here we all are before dinner. I am forever thankful for all of them.
We then dashed into Christmas full sprint.

Here is an outake of us who didn't make the Christmas card. |

Whitaker asked for a rocket fishing rod from Santa, which he got and never actually made it to the water. Santa doesn't make toys like he used to. |
 |
Mae asked for a new American Girl Doll Kit. |
We then walked into the end of the year doing one thing we love, spending the day with our family.
