Wedding

My youngest and the last cousin in the Kogut Family [Dad's side] got married in Pittsburgh on Friday. My cousin was so kind to invite kids to the wedding so after much back and forth about whether we wanted to hire a babysitter in Pittsburgh for the night of the wedding or bring the kids to the wedding, we settled on bringing them. I figured if they were bad, Pearson would take them back to the hotel. It was the exact opposite they were amazing! They were fantastic wedding guests…they were quiet during the ceremony, danced and danced and danced, and were adorably/stylishly cute (if I must say so myself). The wedding venue was amazing. It was at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and perfect for keeping kids entertain. The bride and groom were stunning and so in love. It was pretty special to go to this very special wedding as a family.

Since we decided to bring the kids to the wedding we decided to not bring them to the rehearsal dinner so on Thursday, I headed to Pittsburgh with just my parents and my older sister. Pearson stayed back in Virginia to shuttle the kids back and forth to school. Here are two photos from the rehearsal dinner.

Here are photos from the day/night that the kids showed up.  Of course, when the kids showed up at the hotel they demanded to go see Baby Jolene after getting dressed.

While waiting for the elevator to see Jolene and train passed. And it being PA it was filled with coal.

Waiting for the shuttle to the wedding.

Whitaker and Sopia [my cousin's daughter]. Whitaker sat on Sophia's lap for the entire ceremony.

And photos from the morning after. Baby Jolene all smiles even though she didn't get to attend the wedding.

Those pictures are stunning! Everyone looks so pretty and the kids look so happy to be dressed up and going someplace fancy! You should use one of these pics as your Christmas card picture. xo
