Happy Valentine's Day

Caption to photo could read. Happy Valentine's Day! Hope your day isn't boring or brings you to tears. This photo was my third separate attempt at getting the kids together for a Valentine's picture to use for Valentine's Day cards. As you can tell a pretty big fail on my part. Whit is normally an easily photogenic subject. Mae has become less willing to get her photo taken (as seen in the photo above).

Last year, I was really, really, really into Valentine's Day. I had a party for Mae and all her friends, complete with cookie decorating and Valentine's making stations. This year not so much. I think I might have outdone myself at Christmas or maybe, I am just not feeling the love this year. Whatever the reason, here is to a very Happy Valentine's Day. What is on the romantic evening for Pearson and I? Take out and painting our living room/dining room/kitchen. Nothing says romance like household improvement projects.
