Today Mae and I had a special "Mommy and Me" morning. We went to church, then Ikea, and then the grocery store. For the most part, Mae was great throughout all these stops except for a bit of whining in the car after Ikea. While walking out of the grocery store, we had a conversation about the day.
Me: Mae, I loved spending a special mommy and me day with you. The only thing that I didn't like was your whining.
Mae: I don't like the way you sing.
Me: You don't like the way I sing?
Mae: You don't sing as well as some of the princesses.
Me: Really?
Mae: Ariel and Cinderella sing much better then you. Snow White maybe not.
Well, there you have it, I am not destined to be a singing Disney princess.
