Today with the temperatures dipping in the 50's and the fall foliage we decided to hit the great outdoors - not that we don't spend most of our time outdoors alreadys. Pearson originally wanted to head to Skyline Drive to check out the changing leaves but since the kids spent the night at my parents house - meaning we got a late start to the day - and sunday family supper at 4 pm, we didn't have the time to tackle the trip. Instead we settled for a little "hike' in Great Falls. It was great and it was great to be out just the 4 of us for a couple of hours.
You will notice by the photos I was really trying to capture the two kids together. Pearson asked that his birthday gift be a photo of the two kids for his office. After going through countless past photos the other day I realized I don't have a decent one of the two of them together since our last Christmas card. And after looking at the photos you will realize I still have yet to have a good one of them - ok maybe one of them is acceptable. They are such goofballs.
