I could go on and on at great length about Fox Hollow Farm located in Issaquah, WA. I think I already have in fact! (I have posted about it many times). I really don't think another place exists like it, except maybe Heaven. It really is one of my all time favorite places in all of the Seattle area. This place is magical every time and never disappoints. With decent weather and nothing scheduled for the day, I decided to head out there for the morning. I also checked in last minute with a a mom of an old coop classmate of Mae's to see if they wanted to join us so that we could catchup and the kids could hang out. They were able to join.
What made this trip magical? A whole bunch of piglets running around, baby peacocks, Mae and Ellie playing house for what seemed like an eternity, riding mini John Deere tractors, and all the other wonderful things that this farm has to uncover.
What made the experience the best? Mae got in the car to go home and said, "Thanks Mom that was a really great day." Melt my heart.

When we walked in, we were greeted by baby pigs! |
Checking them out. |
Despite just seeing 10+ piglets running around this is his face. |
Mae going in for a pet. |
Playing at the little houses. Mae could have stayed here all day. I think maybe I should be less of a homemaker. |
Whit over playing house and ready to discover the rest of the farm. |
One of the staff was walking around with a parrot and getting it to talk. Here is Whit finding it "sort of" funny. |
Bunnies. |
Whit is obsessed with cats. I think that we might need to get one. |
Keep your eyes on the road pal. |
Mae with an albino peacock. |
On the train. |
Petting the sheep was one of Mae's favorite things about the farm. These are the babies from last time we visited. |
This goat was really into gnawing my sweater. |
Whit getting into the sheep and goats. He was a little timid at first. |
This goat was a like a dog and all it wanted to do was be petted. I obliged. |
Asking if we could take one home. |
Rope swing. |
Four wheeling. Whit actually drove it a bunch too but I couldn't take a picture of him on it because I hd to walk right next to him to make sure he didn't kill someone. |
Following the peacocks. |
Baby peacocks. |
These are the baby pigs. If you look on the left set of pigs, there is a pig that is the runt of the litter. So cute! |
Bouncing! |
HUGE bouncy slide. No one was deterred. |
And down the slide. |
I asked Mae to count the pigs, which she started to by touching them all. |
James, Mae, Whit, and Ellie all is one picture (turned around). |
Saying goodbye! |
