Today, we took a fall walk through the Arboretum with our good friends, the Moirs [Alyssa, Dave, Will, and Worden]. As always, it was great to see them but as always, it made me realize we don't see them nearly as much. Really, not nearly as much.
It was great to be in the arboretum with them since the place is special for all of us. This is where we all became such good friends logging countless miles running. Times have changed over the years but we all still gravitate to this magical place to spend time together. The pace of our walks/runs have slowed considerably and the distance we cover has changed with all the kids in tow but it is even more special watching our kids hang out together and rediscovering/discovering this place we all love.

Playing in a pile of dirt. This kept them all entertained for 10 minutes. |
 |
Even though we brought the stroller, Whitaker didn't want to be in it. I was impressed about how much he walked. |
 |
This pile of rocks seemed like a good idea to play in, UNTIL, the kids starting throwing the rocks at each other and us. |

Did I mention it is Sunday and football is on? The boys checking their phones for Fantasy Football updates. |
