Guess Who Came To Visit Us?

We were so happy to have Aunt Julie and Unlce Beef in Seattle this weekend. A big thank you to both of them for making the journey cross country for such a short visit. We loved being able to welcome them to the city in which we live but more importantly we were happy to be able to spend time with them. I would love to say that their visit was filled with amazing cultural and artistic highlights, however, it pretty much consisted of eating and drinking the whole time. I didn't even cook for them once and we ate out every single meal.

Mae also loved having them here and when she woke up this morning she asked for them. No lie. As Pearson said, "Julie is the Pied Piper of kids." I will also tell you Beef isn't bad either. They both have such an ease, gentleness, and playfulness with children it is pretty remarkable to watch them entertain/watch/take care of Mae.

The only downside of the weekend was that I was sick and vomiting for part of it but let's not talk about how sick I am. It is like beating a dead horse.

Here are photos from their visit.

First food stop: Donuts.

Ready for our night out. (Well not Mae of course).
