I am home from my weekend away for Julie's Bachelorette Party in Vegas. I survived a weekend away of partying, gambling, and no Mae. The weekend was a blast and it was great to spend the weekend with some of Julie's oldest friends, meet her new friends, and spend time with her soon to be new family members. I definitely enjoyed a couple of baby free days but was ready to see Mae this morning when she woke up.
A couple things that I learned from the weekend are that I am not as young or as fun as I used to be. Pearson was unimpressed by my performance of going to bed at 1 am on Saturday night. And I am definitely not as lucky as Heather at Blackjack. She went home with 15 times the money I did.
