Welcome Baby Jolene

I am so excited and over the moon to tell you that my little sister [Julie] and her husband [Matt] welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Jolene Veronica, into the world this morning. She is beautiful, healthy, and absolutely perfect. I am so proud of my sister and can't wait to share the journey of motherhood with her. We all can't wait to shower Baby Jolene with limitless love. We are so lucky and blessed to have her enter our lives.

Look Up

Yesterday late afternoon Whitaker and I were sitting outside. He eating a banana and me just watching him. He all of sudden looked up. Then said to me, "Look Mommy the clouds are moving." 

And in fact they were. Then he said, "Rain comes from the clouds." 

 I love sneaking these little moments with the kids and hearing what they know. Also in the midst of all the stress with the house stuff we have going on and all the many trips we have been taking it is good to be reminded to look up and simply enjoy the beautiful sky and the moving clouds.
